In Terms Of Performance, The Aircraft Has A Top Speed Of 118 Knots (136 Miles Per Hour), A Cruise Speed Of 112 Knots (129 Miles Per Hour), And A Range Of 470 Nautical Miles (540 Miles). Inside The 1.70-Cubic Meters Cabin, The 162 Skycatcher Is Fitted With The Garmin G300 Split-Screen Avionics Suite, Which Consists Of A Garmin Sl40 Communication Radio, A Garmin Gtx327 Mode C Transponder, And A 121.5 Mhz Emergency Locator Transmitter. The Aluminum Alloy Semi-Monocoque Fuselage Is Fitted With High-Strength, Tapered Steel Tube Landing Gear For Quality Shock Absorption. At One Point, Customers Had Placed Orders For 1,200 Of The 162 Skycatchers.
