To Adapt To The Floatplane Configuration, The 208 Must Be Fitted With Hoisting Rings (Replacing The Fairing Strips), Inboard Fuel Filling Ports, An Extended Chord Rudder, Short Airstair Door Cables, And A Relocated Microphone To Install An Emergency Lever For Lowering The Wheels On The Floats. The Base Model Features 8 Seats And A Garmin G1000 Avionics Suite With Optional Terrain Awareness And Warning System (Taws). The Amphibian Is Powered By A 675 Shaft Horsepower Pratt &Amp; Whitney Pt6a-114A Engine Located In The Aircraft’S Nose And A 3 Blade, Constant Speed, Fully Feathered Metal Mccauley Propeller. The Landing Gear Is Non-Retractable In A Tricycle Formation With A Steerable Nose Wheel.
