Backed By An Advanced Williams International Fj33 Fanjet Engine Providing 1,800 Pounds Of Thrust And Carbon Fiber Construction, The Vision Sf50 Handles Like Manufacturer Cirrus’ Popular Families Of Sr20 And Sr22 Piston Aircraft. In Terms Of Performance, The Vision Sf50 Exhibits A Cruise Speed Of 300 Knots (345 Miles Per Hour), A Stall Speed Of 61 Knots (70 Miles Per Hour), A Service Ceiling Of 28,000 Feet (8,500 Meters), And A Range Of 540 Nautical Miles (621 Miles). Like Other Cirrus Models, The Vision Sf50 Comes Furnished With The Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (Caps) Which Saves The Entire Aircraft And Has Been Credited With Saving 87 Lives Thus Far. For Avionics, The Vision Sf50 Comes Standardly Equipped With The Cirrus Perspective Suite By Garmin With Synthetic Vision Technology (Svt). The Synthetic Vision Technology Provides Real-Time 3D Imaging Of Terrain, Obstacles, And Traffic On The Primary Flight Display—Reproducing What The Pilots Would See Outside The Cockpit In Clear Conditions. The Cirrus Perspective Suite Also Includes Dual Wide Area Augmentation System (Waas) Gps, Dual Attitude And Heading Reference Systems (Ahrs), Dual Air Data Computers (Adc), And A Mode S Transponder.
