Galileo Inc. is the US subsidiary of Selex ES. The US headquarters is located in Arlington, VA. Facilities are also located in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, and Mississippi. They provide products for the Joint Strike Fighter, Army Apache program, DHS Customs and Border Protection Multirole Enforcement Aircraft Program, C-550 program, Coast Guard HC-130H program, and Air Force AC-130 Gunship.In the airborne mission-critical systems for surveillance, awareness, and protection Galileo is the premier solutions provider. To improve the capabilities of Selex platforms Galileo provides upgrades to enhance readiness and performance.System integration services improve the capabilities of Avionics, Electro Optical, Electronic Warfare Systems, Airborne Radar, Lasers, Simulators and Unmanned Aerial Systems.

An example of their integration systems is the new Aircraft Gateway Processor. Co-developed with Department of Energy the New Raptor-X AGP upgrades the Aircraft Survivability Equipment sensors. Essentially a military specific Google Earth the Raptor X provides the aircraft crew with combined threat assessment and a prioritized tactical response providing the user with a clear picture of the operating environment.

Galileo recently held a product showcase for the U.S. Army that featured new aviation technology. The technology displayed is for use on fixed and rotary wing aircraft. For example the U.S. Army Apache helicopter, USCG HC-130H, and almost every fighter jet in service. Also on display was the Seaspray 7500E AESA Radar. This radar is used to detect small targets and has been utilized in narcotics interdiction missions as well as search and rescue operations. It is used on the HC-130H and Beech King Air 350ER fleet.

The Aircraft Gateway Processor, mentioned above, was also featured for use on the Army AH-64D helicopter fleet. Other systems showcased were the Falco Unmanned Aerial System, VigilX enhanced vision system, Airborne Tactical Observation and Surveillance system, and Sage digital ESM system.
