Gulfstream just received an approval for new flight management system 6.1 for gulfstream IV, gulfstream IV-SP, gulfstream 400, and gulfstream 300. Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation broadcasted that its full squad of demo aircraft flew to the 65th Annual National Business Aviation Association Meeting and Convention on innovative biofuels. The five aircrafts flew from Savanna, Georgia to Orlando, Florida on a 50/50 blend of Honeywell Green Jet Fuel and petroleum-based jet fuel. They also improved the Gulfstream 650 that result in the range at high speed and takeoff detachment, giving operators enhanced bounciness for ultra-extended-range missions.
The Gulfstream 280 aircraft has set a three new city-pair speed record in June flying from Dallas, Texas to Teterboro, New Jersey and from Teterboro, New Jersey to Jacksonville, Florida and from Jacksonville, Florida back too Dallas, Texas. Gulfstreams innovative excellent mid-sized aircraft has now set seven speed records since setting its first in May. From Love Field in Dallas, Texas to Teterboro, New Jersey Airport it took two hours and forty seven minutes, from Teterboro, New Jersey to Jacksonville, Florida it took two hours and seven minutes, and from Jacksonville, Florida back to Dallas, Texas it took two hours and two minutes.
