In an April 2015 announcement, Cessna Aircraft Company stated that it has partnered up with the Ohio State University’s Flight Education program for the order of five Cessna Skyhawk 172 training aircraft. This long-term agreement was announced on April 21st at the Sun n’ Fun International Fly-In and Expo. Mitsubishi, whose best known aircraft is the Zero fighter plane of World War II fame, has recently announced the launching of the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ). Headquartered in Nagoya, Japan, the company decided to delay the jet’s release until later this year. In April 2015, Deutsche Bank analyst Michael Linenberg downgraded Delta Airlines stock from “Buy” to “Hold,” believing the stock’s value will not move much in the short term. In a research report released to the press, Linenberg cites the strength of the US dollar as well as probable diminishing returns on international sales as reasons for his outlook. In light of less than spectacular returns for Bombardier Inc., Pierre Beaudoin announced in February of 2015 that he will retire as CEO of the company. The resignation signals the end of the Beaudoin family’s (descendants of the original founder Joseph-Armand Bombardier) reign at the head of the company.
