Honeywell’s UOP declared the third technology license for its innovation methanol-to-olefins technology, which changes methanol from coal into key plastic building blocks. China’s Shandong Yangmei Hengtong Chemicals Co. Ltd. will use Honeywell UOP’s innovative MTO process, which syndicates Honeywell’s UOP and Hydro MTO process and the Total Petrochemicals and UOP Olefin Cracking process to change methanol from gasified coal into ethylene and propylene, which are building block materials used in the manufacture of films, packaging, plastics and other petrochemicals. Today the Boeing Company is looking to work together with Russian Technologies to develop a constituent management service to care for Russian airline customers. This could decrease share costs, make things easier logistically and decrease distribution time of serious extra parts to Russian airlines. The companies also are discovering ways for Boeing to support Rostech in further progress of in-country restoration and renovation capability for Western aircraft components, in order to produce aviation parts restoration and renovation establishments within Russia. Gulfstream just received an approval for new flight management system 6.1 for gulfstream IV, gulfstream IV-SP, gulfstream 400, and gulfstream 300. Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation broadcasted that its full squad of demo aircraft flew to the 65th Annual National Business Aviation Association Meeting and Convention on innovative biofuels. The five aircrafts flew from Savanna, Georgia to Orlando, Florida on a 50/50 blend of Honeywell Green Jet Fuel and petroleum-based jet fuel.
